Overview National Guard magazine, the official publication of the National Guard Association of the United States, is seeking a storyteller who enjoys writing about the military to help cover National Guard issues nationwide. In addition, the selected candidate will serve as editor of the weekly NGAUS e-newsletter. Responsibilities Write engaging stories about the military and National Guard issues for the magazine. Edit and manage the NGAUS weekly e-newsletter. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience covering the military. Some travel will be required. Work most days from the National Guard Memorial, NGAUS headquarters in Washington, D.C. Compensation and Benefits Salary range is $80,000 to $90,000. Benefits package includes medical coverage immediately and a 401(k) with a 7% match after six months.
