Wood Finish (Hands-on) Manager

We are seeking a top level Wood Finish (Hands-on) Manager for a very desirable location here in sunny Florida.

The candidate we are looking for will need to be a leader willing to accept a role of leadership by leading from the front and accustomed to a fast paced production environment.

Key Requirements/ Responsibilities:

Creation of all control samples and new colors in various techniques throughout the industry (i.e. paints with glazes, stains with glaze, stains, dye stains, toning, bleaching, cerused, etc.)
Quality control - inspection of process throughout production.
Coordination of projects process inside and out of finishing, including sanding and prep.
Oversee maintenance schedule for equipment pumps, guns, oven etc.
Create daily time report for finishes to help with scheduling timeframes.
Keep log of work completed on a daily basis.
Maintain log inventory of all equipment and product.
Start up and shut down of all equipment.
Ordering of materials.
Training personnel (sanding included) with constant oversight.
Development of new processes.
Maintain Hazardous waste program reduction in waste, management of hazardous waste program ensuring proper disposal of product.
Control and Implement safety program- spray mask, safety glasses, applicable equipment for each employee.
Must be clean neat and organized.
Ensure every day the product must be stored away, all work stations cleaned and prepped for the following work day.
Product stored in proper manner based on fire and safety regulations.
