Job Description: As a Web Developer/WordPress Expert at avanmed, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining client websites to meet both functional and aesthetic objectives. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and design teams to turn design concepts from Adobe or Figma files into fully functional websites. Your role will involve custom Elementor theme development, coding when necessary, and ensuring that websites are optimized for speed and adhere to best practices. Job Role: Design, develop, and maintain websites using WordPress, Elementor, and other web development tools. Translate design files from Adobe or Figma into functional websites, ensuring design fidelity, or providing viable options. Create custom WordPress themes tailored to specific client needs. Create custom WordPress website templates tailored to specific client needs. Troubleshoot and optimize server configurations, including PHP and .htaccess issues, particularly on GoDaddy hosting. Manage MySQL databases and implement security best practices. Stay up-to-date with design trends and incorporate them into web development projects. Collaborate with designers and clients to ensure websites align with their vision and goals. Optimize websites for performance, speed, and responsiveness. Utilize staging environments for testing and client previews. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with Shopify/Woocommerce is a plus. Familiarity with other website builders like Wix and Divi is a plus. Familiarity with building landing pages is a plus. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in web development and WordPress expertise. Expert in Elementor, including creating custom themes and templates. Strong ability to transform design files into fully functional websites. Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe and Figma. Keen eye for design and the ability to create visually appealing websites. Thorough knowledge of website optimization and best practices. Experience with staging environments for testing and client previews. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet project deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. A commitment to staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
