Job Title: Visiting Doctor (Independent Contractor – 1099 Position)

Location: Darien, IL (serving South, West, and North Suburbs and the Greater Chicagoland Area)

Compensation: $80 per patient

Schedule: Minimum 2 days per week, maximum 4 days per week
(Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday options available)

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Visiting Doctor to join our mobile healthcare team. In this role, you will provide in-home medical visits to patients throughout the Chicagoland area. You’ll be supported by a dedicated driver/medical assistant (MA) who will transport you from patient to patient and assist during visits as needed.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position ideal for a physician seeking flexible scheduling and rewarding patient care in a community-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough in-home medical evaluations and manage patients’ ongoing health needs.
• Diagnose, treat, and monitor acute and chronic conditions within your scope of practice.
• Review and manage medication regimens and coordinate care with other providers as needed.
• Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner using electronic medical records (EMR).
• Provide patient education and support to ensure understanding of diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Communicate effectively with the administrative team and report to the Darien, IL office.
• Collaborate with your assigned MA/driver to maintain daily schedules and ensure efficient travel between visits.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with a valid Illinois medical license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or similar field preferred).
• Current DEA license.
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from the Darien office.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Schedule & Compensation

• Flexible schedule: 2–4 days per week (Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday).
• Compensation: $80 per patient seen .
• Dedicated driver/medical assistant provided daily for transportation and patient support.
