About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Global Commercial Insights & Business Analytics to spearhead the development and leadership of its enterprise Insights & Analytics (I&A) capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a high-performing center of excellence that encompasses various I&A functions, including forecasting, market research, performance analytics, competitive intelligence, and advanced analytics. This role is pivotal in enabling data-first decision-making across the global portfolio and requires a leader who can partner closely with the program to ensure consistent, governed data and modern platforms. The VP will also be instrumental in driving the digital strategy, particularly in the areas of digital content operations, SEO, and SEM, and will be expected to represent the company as a thought leader in operations and analytics. Applicants for the VP position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong preference for those holding an advanced degree and at least 5 years in a senior operations and/or analytics role within oncology. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in motivating and leading teams, as well as the managerial courage to make and stand by difficult decisions. Global and/or international experience is preferred, and the candidate must be adept at influencing cross-functional teams and engaging with both scientific and commercial stakeholders. The VP will be expected to deliver decision-grade insights, drive advanced analytics, and ensure the team operates with excellence, including talent development and budget management. The position requires a results-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to communicate with clarity and foster a culture of continuous learning and change.
