Ultrasound Technologist

PRN-working hours/shifts as needed

Shifts are weekdays only, no weekends or holidays

Sarasota & Charlotte Counties, FL

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures
• Perform ultrasound examinations
• Operate and maintain equipment
• Analyze an interpret imaging results
• Collaborate with medical team
• Maintain accurate patient records

Required skills and qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university in related field
• Active registration with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Valid Florida state license as an Ultrasound Technologist
• BLS certification
• Proficient in computer software (eRad, Athena, PACS, etc.)
• Ability to work independently

Preferred skills and qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of general and vascular ultrasound experience
• Experience with Breast exams preferred
• ACLS certification (must be completed within 90 days of employment)
