Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) Developer to join our Development team. As a UI/UX Developer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive interactions between users and digital products and documenting processes and instructions to meet the customer’s requirements.

Travel: Negligible Clearance:

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements:

• United States citizen
• Experience in Python and JavaScript
• Experience with data visualization
• Experience in Grafana/Angular/Dash or other related libraries/applications
• Experience with control interface and operational display/interface
• Ability to clearly communicate design ideas to stakeholders and collaborate effectively with development teams
• Capacity to identify user needs and design solutions to address complex problems 

Responsibilities:

• Design/Develop test harness workflow/user experience (UX)
• Design/Develop test harness user interface (UI)
• Document use case and process
• Ensure user has an intuitive interaction with the system and can interpret what is presented to make decisions
• Advise team on best practices early and often
• Develop user instructions
• Work with customer to understand needs; especially to prioritize elements of the workflow for different use cases

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is desired Compensation:

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

 

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $79,000 - $110,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
