Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT/BLS certification for an acute care Level 2 trauma setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Position is in an acute care radiology department with 7 treatment areas
  • Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics including inpatient, outpatient, ER, and OR cases
  • Average daily workload includes 70-80 studies plus 5-15 OR cases
  • Variety of imaging including fluoroscopy, portables, C-arm, high volume ER, and busy OR
  • Equipment includes OEC c-arms, Medtronic O-arm, Fuji general and portable units, and Siemens fluoro
  • Uses EPIC and Citrix charting systems
  • Work schedule features varied day shifts Monday to Friday (start times 0600, 0700, 0730, 1130), with call 1-2 weekday nights per week
  • Weekend shifts on Saturday/Sunday are 8 or 12 hours (7:00-15:30 and 7:00-19:30) with call required every third weekend
  • Floating is required to inpatient, outpatient, OR, and ER within the scope of radiology
  • Responsibilities include performing a range of radiology exams and procedures in a high-volume environment
  • No IV starts required
  • Day shift features on-site radiology supervisors and coordinators; after-hours images are sent to teleradiology
  • 1.5 to 2 weeks of clinical and EPIC training provided at orientation
  • Scrubs are provided
  • Family-like team atmosphere with strong collaboration
  • RTO (up to 7 days per 13 weeks) must be requested up front; no additional RTO approved after submission
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility and not have worked with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity in the past year
  • Holiday coverage required as needed

  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
  • Active North Dakota state license required; license required if applicable
  • Experience with C-arm is required; O-arm experience preferred but training will be provided
  • Prior experience with portable and fluoroscopy imaging required
  • Must be able to respond to call within 20-30 minutes
  • Must provide two professional references (one supervisor reference from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference from the last 3 years)
  • Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
