Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Engineer to join our dynamic team, contributing to transportation, traffic, and parking planning projects. This role involves managing and designing Intersection Design Studies, Preliminary Geometric plans, and Traffic Signal and Interconnect plans. The ideal candidate will attend public meetings with developers, public agencies, and zoning attorneys and will prepare traffic signal design plans for new and modified intersections, including construction sequencing, pavement marking plans, signing plans, and traffic control plans.

Work Environment
The role offers a hybrid schedule, with in-office work on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and remote work on Tuesday and Friday. The candidate will have their own desk and may share an office with a partner. Approximately 80% of the time will be spent in the office, with 20% on-site for tracking traffic reports or attending public meetings. The position is open due to increasing workload and involves working on a variety of project types, which typically take 3-4 weeks to complete. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rosemont, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39.90 - $43.27/hr.
