Job Description

Our client, a leader in outdoor power equipment testing and product development, is seeking a Test Technician to join their team. As a Test Technician, you will be part of the Testing & Product Development department supporting the testing and evaluation of lawnmowers, landscaping tools, and other small engines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical skills, strong organization, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Haw River, NC

Pay Range:

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Operate prototype lawnmowers and power equipment for real-world testing scenarios
• Transport equipment to local offsite test locations using company vehicles
• Mow test fields and assist with setup and teardown of testing fixtures
• Assemble and disassemble machines for testing and evaluation activities
• Maintain organization in the test shop, including cleaning and inventory management

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscaping, equipment operation, or mechanical repair
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to tow trailers safely and confidently
• Experience using landscaping equipment such as riding, zero-turn, or walk-behind mowers
• Familiarity with hand-held tools like trimmers, chainsaws, edgers, and blowers
• Mechanical skills for maintaining or repairing small engines and equipment
