What You'll Do Represent HotTakes at New Jersey college campuses (Rutgers, Seton Hall, Princeton, TCNJ, Montclair State) and key sporting venues Create authentic "man on the street" style content interviewing NJ sports fans about their takes on local teams (Giants, Jets, Devils, etc.) Host viewing parties at popular sports bars in Hoboken, Jersey City, New Brunswick, and the Shore Grow the HotTakes community by engaging directly with potential users across New Jersey's diverse sports scene Produce engaging social content that captures real NJ fan reactions during key moments for local teams Build partnerships with campus organizations and local influencers throughout the Garden State Share on-the-ground insights about the unique New Jersey sports culture to help shape our regional strategy Convert face-to-face interactions into app downloads and active users What You Bring Outgoing personality with zero fear of approaching strangers and starting conversations Deep knowledge of New Jersey sports culture and fandom (college and pro teams) Strong connections to campus life at one or more NJ colleges/universities Comfort being on camera and creating content in busy game day environments Basic understanding of content creation (smartphone video, simple editing) Ability to travel throughout New Jersey to different campuses and sporting events Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in the field Bonus: Experience in event planning, street team marketing, or sales Must meet legal age requirements for certain venue activations (21+) Why This Role Rocks Hands-on experience in brand building across one of the most sports-passionate states in the country Access to major sporting events at MetLife Stadium, Prudential Center, and top college venues Build your portfolio with real-world content and measurable growth results Competitive stipend plus performance-based incentives tied to downloads and retention Flexible schedule built around key NJ sporting events and campus activities Direct access to our marketing and growth teams for mentorship Exclusive HotTakes merch and potential for all-expenses-paid trips to major sporting events Clear path to future opportunities with the company as we scale HotTakes is committed to building a diverse team that reflects New Jersey's vibrant culture.
