Position: Strategic Manager – Printing & Digital Papers Location: Corporate Reports to: Vice President of Sales & Marketing FLSA: Exempt

Summary: The Strategic Manager supports the operational effectiveness and profitability of the company by collaborating closely with the Print Director, Digital Specialist, Division Managers, and Sales Managers. The role focuses on optimizing customer profitability, driving sales growth, negotiating with vendors, and managing margins. Key responsibilities include report generation and analysis, bid management, sales administration, event coordination, and data tracking.

Essential Functions:

· Analyze and report business trends and collaborate with the Director of Print, Digital Print Paper, and Specification Specialists to drive growth and development.

· Support quarterly and annual sales reviews, including accountability tracking.

· Support the creation of sales presentations, marketing materials, and catalogs to enhance the Printing Papers and Digital segment visibility.

· Assist in monthly Printing and Digital Papers supplier reviews, supplier reporting, as well as annual sales planning and budgeting processes.

· Track and report on new customer acquisitions, maintaining key performance metrics for the Director of Print and Digital Print Specialist.

· Oversee Printing & Digital segment sales promotion initiatives and related reporting to maximize impact.

· Coordinate Printing Papers & Digital Printing industry events, trade shows, and internal meetings, serving as a key liaison across Divisions.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Support negotiating pricing with key customers and suppliers to optimize margins and support strategic Printing and Digital segment sales initiatives.

· Identify and pursue new bid opportunities to expand business prospects

· Manage and oversee existing bid projects to ensure successful outcomes

· Support the management of rebate and Just-In-Time (JIT) programs, ensuring proper organization and reporting for the Printing & Digital Printing segment.

· Maintain the Printing & Digital Printing pricing files for the Price Book.

· Coordinate communications, mailings, and web pricing reports to support sales operations.

Other Functions:

· Representing WCP at trade shows and industry events, expanding market presence.

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

· Perform additional duties to support the Printing Papers & Digital segment objectives as needed.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a distribution or related environment preferred.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.

· Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a collaborative mindset.

· Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities under deadlines. Adaptable, proactive, and results-driven in a fast-paced environment.
