BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a Strategic Advisor (Principal). This is a full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered. As a Strategic Advisor (Principal) at BVA Bears IT Solutions, you will provide high-level guidance and thought leadership to executive stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment of technology initiatives with organizational objectives. This role partners with leadership to define IT modernization roadmaps, assess emerging technologies, and shape transformational programs across enterprise systems and processes.
The Strategic Advisor (Principal) serves as a trusted partner to clients and internal teams, synthesizing business needs, risk considerations, and market trends into actionable strategies. This role ensures that proposed solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with the clients mission and operational goals.
Duties Include:
- Advise executive stakeholders on IT strategy, technology investment decisions, and business transformation initiatives.
- Lead the development of strategic roadmaps for modernization of enterprise systems and processes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to capture strategic requirements and align business goals with technology solutions.
- Provide high-level oversight and guidance for complex programs and portfolios.
- Support development of business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and performance metrics for strategic initiatives.
- Ensure strategic alignment of solutions across domains, including ERP, ServiceNow, analytics platforms, and cybersecurity.
- Mentor project teams and contribute to organizational knowledge sharing.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies as a senior stakeholder or subject matter expert when required.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1015 years of experience in IT strategy, business consulting, or enterprise architecture.
- Demonstrated experience advising senior executives and managing complex technology initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems, digital transformation, and modernization programs.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to synthesize business, technical, and financial considerations into strategic recommendations.
