Job Title: Steel Detailer
Location: Statesville, North Carolina
Salary: $70K - $100K DOE
The Role
Are you a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills? We are looking for an experienced Steel Detailing Manager to lead our detailing team, specializing in structural steel projects. In this key position, you'll be responsible for overseeing the detailing process, ensuring high accuracy, and meeting project deadlines. Your expertise in Tekla software and leadership will be essential in driving the success of our projects.

They are recognized for delivering high-quality steel detailing and fabrication services across various commercial and industrial projects. With a commitment to precision and innovation, they are expanding their operations in North Carolina and need a skilled manager to join their growing team.
You will be responsible for:
• Leading and managing the detailing team, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to deadlines
• Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure accuracy and efficiency in detailing
• Reviewing and approving detailed shop drawings and ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Utilizing Tekla software to ensure precision in modeling and detailing
• Training and mentoring junior detailers to maintain a high level of performance
Required Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in steel detailing
• Proficiency in Tekla software is essential
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Familiarity with AISC standards and commercial/industrial steel projects
