Job Title: Shipping Clerk
Monday - Friday

8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments, verifying accuracy, maintaining records, and ensuring all goods are shipped in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process outgoing shipments according to company procedures and shipping schedules.
• Verify and inspect items to be shipped for accuracy, damage, and proper packaging.
• Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation.
• Schedule pickups and coordinate with carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, freight companies).
• Maintain accurate shipping records in company systems or logs.
• Communicate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to resolve order or shipment issues.
• Track shipments and update systems with delivery information.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment as needed (with proper certification).
• Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with receiving and inventory when required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, or logistics preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Forklift certification a plus.
