Job Title: Service Technician - Printers & Copiers

Location: Charlotte, SC

Schedule: Monday - Friday Business Hours

Pay: Varies depending on experience with incentives offered



Overview:
Recruiting Solutions is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Technician for a client! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing multifunction printers, copiers, and related office equipment at client sites or in-house. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering top-tier service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site service, diagnostics, and repair of printers, copiers, and scanners
• Install new devices and configure for network connectivity
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
• Maintain service logs and customer records in service management software
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support to end users
• Educating clients on equipment features and proper usage
• Maintain a clean and organized inventory of parts and tools
• Travel locally to client locations with a 1.5-hour radius of Charlotte

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
• 2+ years of experience servicing printers/copiers or similar equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Familiarity with networking (IP configuration, printer drivers, etc.)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments
