Job Description
The Senior Business Analytics Manager plays a critical role in transforming data into strategic insights to support business decisions. This role is responsible for leading a team of analysts, overseeing complex data projects, and partnering with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, optimize operations, and drive growth. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical acumen with leadership, communication, and business strategy skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of business analysts and data professionals.
Collaborate with executive leadership and business units to understand key performance drivers and develop actionable insights.
Develop and implement reporting frameworks and KPIs to monitor business performance.
Drive the development of dashboards, visualizations, and data models using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Manage and prioritize analytics projects from scoping to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.
Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.
Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives.
Promote a data-driven culture across the organization.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in business analytics, data strategy, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Proficient in SQL and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R).
Hands-on experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Proven ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
Experience working in cross-functional environments and influencing senior stakeholders.
Experience in [industry, e.g., finance, e-commerce, healthcare].
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS).
Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics techniques.
Agile project management experience.
