Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining all equipment cleanliness and sanitation within our facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and adherence to sanitation protocols are essential.

• Monday - Friday and Saturdays if needed
• Hours: 8pm-4:45am OT as needed
• Pay rate:$20-$21 DOE
• Temp to hire

Responsibilities for the Sanitation Worker

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of food production areas, equipment, and surfaces.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and methods to ensure all areas meet hygiene standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of products as needed while maintaining cleanliness.
• Engage in industrial cleaning tasks, including heavy lifting and moving of materials as required.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and supplies used.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food production, commercial cleaning, or sanitation work is preferred.
• Knowledge of chemical use and sanitation practices related to food processing and warehouse environments is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions effectively.
• Experience with Sit-down forklift and EPJ
