The Ron Pearson Center Sales Manager leads the sales and client engagement efforts for the Ron Pearson Center (RPC), ensuring exceptional customer service while maximizing event revenue. This role is responsible for prospecting and securing new business, managing all aspects of event bookings from initial inquiry through contract execution, and maintaining accurate event and booking data. The Sales Manager collaborates with clients to create customized event experiences, develops and implements sales strategies, monitors market trends, and recommends pricing and promotional initiatives to optimize revenue. Primary responsibilities include providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service to all guests, answering inquiries, meeting potential customers, providing facility tours, customizing event packages, completing event contracts, maintaining booking software information, overseeing the RPC calendar, designing and implementing sales policies, reviewing and updating sales processes, developing pricing strategies, conducting competitor pricing audits, identifying new business opportunities, managing advertising and marketing efforts, analyzing sales data for revenue forecasts, driving event sales revenue, collecting billable event information, overseeing bar financials, and reporting to work on time. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) and 3-5 years of sales-related experience. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform various physical activities. The position demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with computer systems and event software. Work is performed in an office and food service setting with frequent deadlines and multiple projects.
