Risk Pricing Analyst (Commercial Risk & Pricing) Houston, TX Job Summary The Risk Pricing Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining forward and market curves for all physical and derivative products represented in company's trading portfolio. This position requires knowledge of ETRM price curve configurations, including expiry and holiday calendars, construction of formula-based forward and market curves, and configuration of complex derivative instruments (e.g., float-float swaps, options). This role will also be responsible for providing back-up coverage for mark-to-market risk reporting analysts Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree-Business, Engineering, and Mathematics 2 years of specific experience with commodity market risk management at leading commodity trader / bank / hedge fund or a masters or greater degree equivalent in a relevant field of study in lieu of experience. Experience in commodity risk management environment. Familiarity with energy commodity market pricing publications and services. Proficiency/prior experience with energy trading and risk management (ETRM) software platforms Background in a quantitative or technical discipline, such as finance, economics, math, engineering or IT Strong interpersonal skills, including communication, teamwork, and conflict management Job Duties Responsible to design, develop, and maintain forward and market curves for all physical and derivative products within the ETRM system. Ensure curve designs allows for appropriate decomposition of risk exposures into their major components and that all market and transfer prices are appropriately market based. Maintain all configuration components within the ETRM system used for construction of curves such as holiday calendars, delivery period categories, pricing products and locations. Verify and maintain the integrity of daily price feeds into the ETRM system. Investigate pricing discrepancies on Inhouse and other formula-based deals and work with various groups to correct them as needed. Responsible for the configuration of Exchange Traded Instruments (ETI) in the ETRM system, as well as monitoring and resolving interface failures, to ensure the timely and accurate flow of ETI's transactions into the ETRM system.
