Excellent communication skills and a warm, courteous manner are needed for speaking with guests, answering phone inquiries, and making accurate reservations. One of your key duties will be to meet and greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and walk them to their seats. $18 - $22 hourly

• Welcome all diners with a friendly attitude to create an excellent first impression
• Make sure dining room tables and chairs are neatly organized at all times and that condiments on the table are restocked if low
• Respond to questions about the menu and memorize the daily specials whenever needed
• Direct customers to their seats, ensuring tables are set properly with enough tableware for each diner, water glasses are filled, and menus are sanitized
• Make reservations, plan out the seating chart, and troubleshoot customer phone inquiries

• Thrive in a fast-moving environment while working in a team situation with extended hours of standing to be expected
• Some restaurant, hospitality, and/or food services industry experience is preferred
• For this position, a high school diploma or the equivalent GED is needed, as well as a good understanding of how to speak and read English
• Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills, as well as the ability to deal with customer requests in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner
