We’re searching for a personable dental hygienist to join our talented team of health care providers! You’ll welcome patients and conduct their initial screenings, perform thorough, dental cleanings, and help dentists with examinations and procedures. Applicants should be knowledgeable about dentistry best practices, possess incredible interpersonal skills, and love working with people. Hours are 7:30 - 5:30 Mon and Tues, and 7:30 - 3:00 Wed and Thurs. Compensation: $50 - $55 hourly Responsibilities: Make patients feel at ease and taken care of before, during, and after the appointment Take x-ray images of the patients’ teeth to help dentists identify any oral health issues like cavities Inform patients of all ages about how to care for their teeth by brushing and flossing on a regular basis Work with dentists to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated Qualifications: Certified to perform CPR Superb customer service and communication skills Able to stand up for long periods of time to administer dental exams and procedures Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located Laser Certification and Experience (Preferred or will train) About Company We are a leading general private dentistry practice conveniently located in the heart of Monument, CO.
