Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Public Relations Associate to join our Cleveland-based team. In this role, you will assist in managing client communications, organizing media outreach efforts, and supporting campaign strategies that promote a positive public image for our clients and the agency. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and experienced in building strong media and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Draft press releases, media pitches, and official communications

  • Coordinate with internal teams to align messaging with brand goals

  • Support the execution of PR campaigns and strategic outreach

  • Monitor media coverage and compile detailed reports for clients

  • Assist with crisis communication planning and implementation

  • Build and maintain media lists and relationships with journalists

  • Prepare briefing materials and talking points for client interviews and events

Qualifications



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

  • Familiarity with media tracking tools and PR software

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

  • Professional demeanor and client-facing communication skills
