I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of
1 Project Manager 3 , hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of
Project Manager 3, Project Management and the specifications outlined in this document for the
Texas Health and Human Services Commission .
Job Description Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the job done.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and should be noted on the resume. Proof of certification may be requested.

Experience should include developing and managing project plans, documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans10RequiredAbility to research, gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts; to devise solutions to problems; and to prepare concise reports and/or to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems10RequiredExperience overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts, ensure business requirements get translated into technical specifications, guide, and facilitate the SDLC process10RequiredExperience developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholder. Must possess strong communication and presentation skills.10RequiredAbility to appropriately summarize and escalate issues and develop and present weekly status updates and conduct regular project team meetings10RequiredAbility to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment10RequiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
