This will be a full-time position and a direct hire with the client company. This position will lead the production process for the plant, providing guidance and mentorship to production supervisors. You will utilize your technical skill and apply to operations with a strong focus on continuous improvement projects, quality projects, and training.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and development Supervisors in both soft and hard skills.
• Lead and guide production process.
• Contribute to production planning and budgeting
• Utilize engineering skills and knowledge in problem-solving and continuous improvement projects. Strong focus on continuous improvement, quality, and training initiatives.
• Lean manufacturing projects
• Maintain a safe production environment
• Work cross-functionally with other Leaders and Engineers at various levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Engineering field a plus.
• 3 - 6 years working in a production / manufacturing environment. Ideal roles are Continuous Improvement, production supervisor, quality, and / or engineering roles. Those completing a Leadership rotational program are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Experience leading a team (cross functional teams acceptable showing strong leadership and results).
• Improvement project experience with measurable results
