Product Owner

Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the entertainment industry is seeking a Product Onwer for their Glendale, CA location! The Product Owner will ead the evolution of a high-impact internal tool that allows studio executives to efficiently view and manage production data - including production timelines, runtime data, release plans, key talent information, and much more.

Experience of the right candidate:

• 2-3 years of experience.
• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions to deeply understand business processes and user needs.
• Serve as the voice of the customer in meetings, ensuring that our solutions are rooted in user needs and reflect a strong understanding of user priorities.
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance the product and translating strategic vision into clear, actionable deliverables.

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

• Work closely with a talented engineering team to translate complex business needs into innovative, scalable product solutions.
• Synthesize input from a wide range of stakeholders, manage a dynamic backlog, and create impactful product documentation - all while ensuring alignment with the broader Studio Technology organization’s vision and strategic goals.
• Serve as the Product lead and subject matter expert for Executive Dashboard.
• Write clear, actionable user stories, lead refinement sessions with project management, and maintain a well-organized and prioritized product backlog.
• Provide well-structured product documentation that enables the team to confidently and efficiently build new features.
• Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team - including engineering, design, and data teams - to define features, drive continuous progress, and deliver high-impact results aligned with product goals.
• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions to deeply understand business processes and user needs.
