They are responsible for setting competitive prices that maximize profitability and market share, while also ensuring customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include: Market Analysis: Researching and monitoring market conditions, customer demand, and competitor pricing. Cost Analysis: Understanding product/service costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, to determine appropriate profit margins. Pricing Strategy Development: Creating and implementing pricing models, structures, and policies (e.g., tiered pricing, promotional pricing, discount strategies). Data Analysis: Utilizing data analytics to identify pricing opportunities, measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies, and forecast sales. Collaboration: Working closely with sales, marketing, product development, and finance teams to align pricing with business goals.
