Wright Technical Services is supporting a client in the process automation and instrumentation space in need of an Operations Manager to take over their team in Greater Indianapolis

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a lean conversion plan to foster continuous improvement and team alignment.
• Lead the operations management team overseeing Production, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
• Drive processes to meet key metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity.
• Collaborate with Global Industrial Engineering to adopt new technologies.
• Enhance supply chain effectiveness, particularly with Kanban systems and inventory management.
• Identify operational breakthroughs and ensure action plans are well-resourced.
• Oversee inventory planning and demand forecasting to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Streamline supply chain processes to reduce costs and enhance service levels.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in Supply Chain and manufacturing leadership, particularly in Machining, Metalwork, Welding, or Brazing.
• Proven experience with Continuous Improvement and excellent analytical skills.
• Motivated leader with a flexible approach, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Oracle, and Power BI
