Job Title: Patient Services Representative I The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients, whether as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures. They have direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens safely, accurately, and skillfully. The PSR I demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence and maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. Under the supervision of the area supervisor, the PSR I performs daily activities accurately and timely, maintains a safe and professional environment, and performs forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties. They also maintain required records and documentation, promote a positive image, and demonstrate organizational commitment. Job Requirements: Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime based on staffing needs. Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Work Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience required; 1+ years preferred. Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience required.
