Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II - Float at Bradenton, FL! This is a 6 months contract role (with high possibility of extension) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role: Phlebotomist II - Float
Location: Bradenton, FL 34202
Shift Schedule:
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $20.27 - 22.63/hour (Based on years of experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and skillful blood collection, including pediatric, geriatric, forensic, and clinical specimens.
Provide coverage across multiple PSC/IOP locations as business needs dictate.
Verify patient demographics, initials, and signatures post-venipuncture to ensure proper specimen labeling.
Maintain required records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
Create and maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to confidentiality.
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Flexibility to adapt to staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience required , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
