Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility, based in Nags Head, NC, 27959

This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Nags Head, NC, 27959

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:45 am - 4:30 pm; Friday 7:45 - 3:15 pm (40hrs/week)

Pay Range: $19.30 - $21.55 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples safely and correctly from patients.
• Make sure patient info is correct and label samples properly.
• Keep the workspace clean and follow safety rules.
• Treat patients with care and respect while building trust.
• Fill out paperwork and keep records up to date.

Education:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or healthcare environment is an asset.
• Proficiency with data entry and keyboarding is also preferred.
