Pride Health is hiring a “Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist I”  to support our client’s medical facility-based “ Jacksonville FL 32250”.  This is a 4-months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Position Name: Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist I

Location: Jacksonville FL 32250

Pay rate: $17.75/hr-$19.75/hr

Duration: 4 months contract with possible extension

Shift: Mon-Fri 6:30-12:30 rotational weekends 7-12

Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health visits and critical health decisions. This role involves:

• Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
• Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
• Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
• Working at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.

Experience:

• 6 months of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
• 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred).
• Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (Preferred).
• Keyboarding/data entry experience (Preferred).
