Job Description
Dynamic Healthcare Company is seeking day shift patient registration clerks for North, and West Knoxville locations
Must have 1-2 years prior medical office experience this is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a professional, friendly manner.
Accurately collect and enter patient demographic, insurance, and contact information into the system.
Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations or referrals.
Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances; provide receipts as needed.
Provide patients with necessary forms and assist with completing documentation.
Maintain confidentiality of all patient records and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Schedule or confirm patient appointments when needed.
Direct patients to the appropriate department or waiting area.
Respond to patient inquiries and resolve registration issues promptly.
Collaborate with clinical and billing departments to ensure registration accuracy.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
Previous experience in healthcare registration, administrative, or front desk roles preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in data entry and use of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and customer service orientation.
