We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our client's team in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a Patient Registration Specialist. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers the opportunity to contribute to a welcoming and efficient patient experience while supporting critical administrative functions. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage patient interactions with care and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and their guests with courtesy, creating a positive first impression.

• Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.

• Process payments and assist with insurance claim submissions.

• Monitor and order office supplies to ensure the department operates smoothly.

• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and data entry as needed.

• Utilize Epic EMR to manage patient information and streamline registration processes.

• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless patient experience.

• Address patient inquiries or concerns professionally and promptly.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

• At least 1 year of experience in patient registration or a similar administrative healthcare role.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR and other relevant systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with medical front office procedures.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Knowledge of insurance claims and payment processing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare administration are a plus.
