We invite dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our retail team as an Outdoor Retail Sales Expert (Sales Associate). Your role will be pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and guiding customers to find the perfect gear and apparel for their outdoor pursuits. Key Responsibilities: Warmly greet and assist customers with their purchases. Provide insightful product information, advice, and recommendations. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized store environment. Manage inventory levels and restock merchandise proactively. Engage in company-wide promotions and marketing initiatives. Collaborate with marketing and buying teams to align product offerings with customer needs. Continuously strive to enhance customer satisfaction and exceed sales targets. Stay updated on product knowledge, trends, and competitor offerings. Some specialized knowledge in skiing, snowboarding, biking, climbing, fly fishing, or other outdoor sports is preferred. What You Bring: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework is a plus. Previous retail sales experience is preferred. Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings. A genuine passion for outdoor activities, with knowledge of related gear and apparel. Compensation: $20.76 - $22.76 per hour.
