Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Scheduler Join the Fairfield County Transit Team! Are you organized, detail‑oriented, and great with people? We’re looking for a driven and customer‑focused professional to serve as the primary liaison between Fairfield County Job & Family Services (JFS) and Transit. In this role, you’ll be the go‑to expert for scheduling JFS transportation, coordinating trips with our contracted providers, keeping records running smoothly, and helping connect residents to essential services. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys juggling multiple tasks, and has strong communication and Microsoft Office skills. Duties Serve as primary point of contact for all Fairfield County Job and Family Services (JFS) scheduling. This includes answering telephones, screening calls, reviewing and responding to emails, making referrals, giving/receiving information regarding services, and coordinate JFS trips with contracted transportation providers Accurately schedule passenger trips and put trips into software Organize billing from contracted providers and submit to Supervisor and the Administrative Assistant Serve as point of contact for scheduling any contracted trips Establish, organize and maintain case files and other records: provide status reports to appropriate staff, JFS staff, and Supervisor Attend meetings and/or training; other duties as assigned by Director or designee All other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and be insurable under the County’s insurance plan 1 year or more office experience 1 year or more computer experience with Microsoft Office applications Valid Ohio Driver’s License Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality Exceptional verbal and written communication Excellent organizational and multi‑tasking skills Ability to prioritize tasks Ability to work effectively and professionally with customers of all demographics with different types of capabilities Ability to work under pressure and to capably interact with coworkers and the public Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Health Care Provider Industries Government Administration #J-18808-Ljbffr Fairfield County, Ohio
