Role Overview: This position leads the service delivery model, including digital offerings and wealth management banking strategies, ensuring superior client service. It involves partnering with market leadership, advising teams, and managing branch operations and expenses. The Market Client Relationship Manager (MCRM) reports to the Division Client Relationship Executive and the Merrill Wealth Management Market Executive, overseeing staff and supporting strategic execution. Responsibilities: Lead the service delivery and banking strategy to drive growth Hire, develop, and lead cross-functional teams supporting Financial Advisors Manage transactions, operations, and compliance to mitigate risks Oversee client service experience and account approvals Lead Wealth Management Client Associates and Operations teams to meet service and operational goals Managerial Responsibilities: Manage processes, communicate enterprise initiatives, ensure risk discipline, coach staff, manage budgets, assess talent, and drive business outcomes. Specific Responsibilities: Ensure client satisfaction while managing risk Manage branch staff and represent Merrill to clients, prospects, and regulators Utilize broad industry knowledge and promote digital-first service Identify opportunities for broader enterprise engagement Ensure operational compliance Qualifications: Current licenses: SIE, Series 7, 66 (or 63, 65), 9, 10 (or 8), and Series 3, 31 if applicable Minimum 5+ years of professional experience Preferred/Key Qualifications: Experience with Merrill Wealth Management preferred Client-centric, self-motivated Regulatory knowledge, investment product expertise Strong communication and management skills Education & Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. Skills include risk management, client management, leadership, and operational expertise.
