We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join a leading pathology client team. This role involves working closely with pathologists, lab personnel, and administrative staff to accurately transcribe and finalize pathology reports for client delivery. Key Responsibilities: Transcribe dictations from pathologists into clear, accurate, and client-ready surgical pathology reports. Format reports using information from requisition forms, gross descriptions, and diagnostic dictations. Review pathology cases to ensure documentation is complete, including clinical history, and coordinate with pathologists for any missing details. Manage documentation and distribution of consultation reports and specialized testing results. Apply strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pathology processes to ensure transcription accuracy. Handle confidential patient and clinical data with professionalism and discretion. Perform other administrative or laboratory-related duties as required. Utilize Winscribe Dictation and CERNER systems for transcription and record-keeping. Qualifications: Proven experience as a medical transcriptionist, preferably in a pathology setting. Proficiency in medical terminology, especially related to pathology. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transcription and proofreading. Experience with Winscribe Dictation and CERNER preferred. Excellent communication and time management skills.
