Mechanical Construction HVAC Superintendent

At Paulson Cheek Mechanical, Inc., we’re known for delivering high-quality HVAC installations on commercial construction projects. We’re looking for a driven Mechanical Construction HVAC Superintendent to join our team and help lead field operations on complex builds. If you have a strong background in HVAC systems, experience managing field crews, and are ready to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
· Oversee the installation of HVAC systems on commercial construction sites.
· Manage daily job site activities, schedules, and subcontractor coordination.
· Supervise and support HVAC crews, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
· Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical plans.
· Act as the on-site point of contact for clients, project managers, and vendors.
· Solving field challenges quickly and effectively to keep projects on track.
· Monitor and enforce site safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
What We're Looking For
· 5+ years of experience as an HVAC Foreman (pipefitting, sheet metal, or technician roles).
· Proficient in blueprint and schematic reading.
· Solid understanding of hydronic and duct systems.
· Strong scheduling and job coordination skills.
· Experience with project management software (FieldWire, Procore, Autodesk).
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Nice to Have
· OSHA 30 Certification
· Valid Driver’s License
· Bilingual (a plus but not required)
