MARKETING COORDINATOR
Position Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator provides essential tactical support to the Director of Marketing Communications (MARCOM) in executing the firm's marketing and communications initiatives. This position serves as a key facilitator of the firm's digital presence, content creation, lead generation efforts, and service provider management. The Marketing Coordinator will manage day-to-day lead generation and social media operations, support attorney-driven content development, and coordinate photography and creative production. This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to pick up new technology quickly and well.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Generation Support
· Assist with paid advertising campaigns across platforms (Meta, Google Ads, Reddit, LinkedIn)
· Support campaign setup, monitoring, and optimization in collaboration with the Marketing Director
· Learn firm’s CRM system inside and out in order to support firm stakeholders
Social Media Management
· Create and schedule both ad hoc and recurring social media content that aligns with firm branding and messaging
· Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and track performance metrics
· Find or create tools to automate and make social media management more efficient
· Coordinate with attorneys and staff to identify and develop timely, relevant content opportunities
Content Development
· Provide tactical support for the firm's Substack newsletter and podcast, including content calendaring and publishing schedules
Creative Production and Brand Stewardship
· Support the creation of visual content including graphics, infographics, and branded materials using tools such as Canva and Photoshop, while ensuring adherence to firm branding guidelines
· Manage the professional photography process for attorney headshots and firm events
Firm Resume Support
· Perform minor updates to the firm resume including attorney additions, practice area changes, and achievement updates
Service Provider Liaison
• Serve as second chair contact for all marketing and communications service providers, assisting with communications, timelines, and expense tracking
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in any field
· 1-3 years of experience in marketing coordination, communications, or related role, preferably for a professional services firm (law, accounting, insurance, finance, etc.)
· Experience with paid ads and/or influencer marketing
· Proficiency with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
· Comfortable learning new marketing technology and AI-assisted tools
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Professional communication style suitable for interacting with attorneys
· Ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on leadership’s requirements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to balance creativity with strategic marketing objectives
· Commitment to ongoing professional development in marketing field
· HTML/basic web editing knowledge a plus
Salary: $80k/yr
