NY PIP Subrogation Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Subrogation Specialist with at least 8-10 years of New York PIP (No-Fault) subrogation experience.
Ideal for someone who thrives in arbitration, negotiations, and recovery work, and who has a strong understanding of New Yorks no-fault laws and timelines.
Essential Functions:
Evaluate PIP claims for recovery opportunities under NY Insurance Law 5105 & 5106
Prepare subrogation demands and negotiate settlements with carriers and attorneys
File and manage cases through Arbitration Forums (AF), including drafting contentions
Monitor pending files to ensure compliance with statutes of limitation
Collaborate with adjusters, carriers, and attorneys to maximize recovery results
Experience and Knowledge:
8+ years of direct NY PIP subrogation experience
Solid knowledge of NY no-fault laws, arbitration procedures, and intercompany agreements
Strong negotiation, analytical, and writing skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
