Job Description Duration: 0-3 months Location: CHICAGO, IL 60601 Pay Rate: $37/hr on W-2 The role involves planning logistical movements across various modes (road, rail, sea, intermodal, parcel, air) and collaborating directly with freight forwarders for marine shipments and rail companies for rail shipments. Responsibilities include coordinating tendering activities using Mercury Gate and SAP in North America, and working with local warehouses in other regions until Mercury Gate deployment. The position requires working across process areas, mainly customer service, for tendering exception processes, calculating freight costs including all cost types, and passing information to the accounts payable team for matching and payment.
