Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Logistics Supervisor for our client, a major player in the energy sector. In this role, you will oversee logistics operations, ensuring shipments are executed accurately and on time while leading a team of delivery coordinators. You will collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and logistics service providers to resolve issues, optimize processes, and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute daily logistics operations in alignment with company priorities and requirements.
• Lead SAP transactional activities for terminals and generate delivery and shipment notes for non-SAP terminals.
• Oversee order postings, returns, replacements, and month-end inventory reconciliation.
• Resolve posting discrepancies and communicate supply chain issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Review, approve, and resolve disputes on invoices related to logistics services such as demurrage, detention, storage, and miscellaneous charges.
• Prepare and process export documentation according to company standards and best practices.
• Develop delivery schedules and communicate them to all relevant departments.
• Analyze and recommend optimal shipping routes.
• Maintain accurate shipping and logistics records and generate reports based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support internal audits, ISO audits, and procedure reviews to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
• Lead and balance workload distribution for the delivery team, including vacation schedules and remote work arrangements.
• Support logistics procurement efforts, including reviewing trucking and ISO tenders.
• Provide guidance to the team on trucking issues, alternative loading points, and end-of-month close processes.
• Monitor and review delivery team performance KPIs and support their development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of direct logistics experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong expertise in logistics processes, shipping terms, and transportation laws.
• SAP experience required.
• Familiarity with international transportation rules and IMO regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a logical, systematic approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams effectively and manage competing priorities.
