A healthcare
facility in Altoona, PA, is seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician
Assistant to join their team. This part-time position requires primarily night
coverage, with shifts running from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role involves covering 5-6
shifts per month and managing a wide variety of emergency department (ED)
patients, focusing on treating lower-acuity cases.
As a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for
providing care to ED patients, with a primary focus on minor complaints and

will conduct patient evaluations, complete histories, and develop treatment
plans.
The role also
includes performing some administrative tasks related to patient care. You will
collaborate with attending physicians, who will primarily handle critically ill
