Job Advertisement: Legal Assistant (Probate and some Estate Planning)

Location: East Boca Raton, FL
Position: Full-time/Part-time
Must live within a reasonable distance of the office

Are you an experienced Legal Assistant with a background in probate? Are you an experienced Legal Assistant with a background in estagte planning? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in our East Boca Raton boutique office with over 30 years of experience. Whether you're looking for a full-time or part-time position, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute your skills to a reputable and dynamic legal office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and electronic filing of probate pleadings
• Assist with the preparation of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
• Manage probate administration tasks, including court filings and correspondence with clients
• Maintain client files, ensuring all documentation is organized and up-to-date
• Communicate with clients, courts, and other professionals on a daily basis
• Schedule appointments and manage deadlines

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Legal Assistant, specifically in probate, is a must
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Word, and legal document management software, including Hot Docs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of East Boca Raton
