We are looking for a skilled Legal Assistant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This is a Contract to permanent position that offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic legal environment while gaining valuable experience in civil litigation and insurance defense. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting attorneys in delivering high-quality legal services.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit electronic filings (e-filing) for court documents with accuracy and efficiency.
• Review and proofread legal motions, depositions, and other documents, ensuring they meet high standards of accuracy and precision.
• Provide support in civil litigation cases, including managing case files and coordinating schedules.
• Assist attorneys with drafting and editing legal correspondence and case-related documentation.
• Maintain and organize legal records, files, and databases for easy accessibility.
• Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals as required.
• Conduct research and compile relevant information to support attorneys in case preparation.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and workflow remains efficient.
• Adhere to business attire standards and maintain a detail-oriented demeanor in the workplace.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, photocopying, and handling correspondence.• At least 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in insurance defense litigation.
• Proficiency in e-filing procedures and familiarity with court systems.
• Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of civil litigation processes and legal terminology.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work onsite in Dallas, Texas while adhering to a business dress code.
• Willingness to undergo a standard check, with the ability to start work pending its completion.
