Job Description:
We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to assist in the planning, execution, and oversight of construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in construction management and gain hands-on experience in the industry. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess strong organizational skills, and be ready to take on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior project managers in coordinating and overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
- Support in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track project progress and prepare reports on status, milestones, and any issues.
- Assist in resolving on-site issues and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to planning and strategy discussions.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of construction processes and project management principles (formal education or coursework in construction management is a plus but not necessary) .
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish)- highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in daily operations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Clean driving record required (Due to the need to travel between job sites).
Compensation:
- Starting salary: [$ 40,000.00 - $ 55,000.00 per year]
- Performance-based raises and opportunities for advancement based on project success and individual performance.
- To start there will be a 90-day trial period, after which your performance will be evaluated
