Job Description

Sunrise Futures is looking to hire a talented Junior Infrastructure System Engineer to join our technology team.

The Role:

• Providing technical expertise to support and troubleshoot our production environment in real time


• Working collaboratively with the technology and business teams on our trading and research platforms


• Analyzing complex technical issues and creating solutions proactively


• Designing and implementing high quality software solutions used for algorithmic trading, exchange connectivity, and research

The Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field


• Problem solvers who are driven, self-motivated, and "outside of the box" thinkers


• Strong programming skills and good understanding of data structures and algorithms


• Ability to work afternoon shift hours, approximately 10am-8pm Central Time


• Linux user experience


• Desire and interest to develop a career in the financial industry


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Motivated, dependable, and responsible team players
