Organization Summary BBYO has been providing exceptional leadership programs and identity enrichment experiences for more than 90 years. We offer year‑round activities in hundreds of local communities and inspiring world‑wide travel experiences enabling teens to explore areas of leadership, service, civic engagement, Israel education, and Jewish values. Program Overview Perlman Camp is a six‑week program that includes the International Leadership Training Conference (ILTC) and International Kallah. ILTC hones leadership skills for teens serving (or aspiring to serve) as regional BBYO position‑holders in their home communities. Kallah is a Jewish learning and spirituality institute that encourages teens to explore Jewish identities in a diverse, pluralistic setting. Location: Lake Como, Pennsylvania Work Commitment: ILTC/Kallah — June 21 – August 3, 2026 Compensation Salary range: $6,200 – $7,000, based on previous experience and educational background. Responsibilities Guide teens to lead and participate in daily prayer experiences in creative and novel ways. Serve as a resource and provide guidance for teens preparing for Shabbat services, rituals, programs, and activities. Represent and teach BBYO culture, Jewish values, leadership, Judaic programming, and Jewish identity. Inspire teens to embrace their Jewish journey and promote BBYO’s pluralistic commitment. Help with evening programs when needed and work with leadership staff and counselors to integrate the Educational Framework into overall programming. Work with song leaders to ensure a thoughtful and inspiring Shabbat atmosphere. For ILTC: Create and execute Jewish enrichment sessions, daily rituals, and Shabbat. Collaborate with the Lead Jewish Educator on topics and expectations. For Kallah: Create and execute Jewish enrichment sessions, daily rituals, and Shabbat. Collaborate with the Lead Jewish Educator on topics and expectations. Overall Camp Expectations for Judaic Educators Ensure participants are on‑time to all meals, classes, and events. Attend and facilitate assigned activities as needed. Stay attentive to health issues and participants’ overall well‑being. Be available to answer questions and provide support (“being there”). Work as part of the overall staff team. Create a community and a positive, enjoyable experience for participants. Follow and enforce all COVID camp guidelines. Pre‑Work / Training Educators will be compensated $250 for completing pre‑work and attending required meetings. Position is not an agent, partner, or employee of BBYO.
