The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to: Consult with hospital Clinical, Administrative, and RMS staff about religious dietary requests; review and approval of vendors; providing education Conduct quality Jewish religious ceremonies, services and groups Provide spiritual counseling, visitation, and teaching to patients unable to attend activities off the unit as scheduled Work cooperatively with the other Chaplains to provide spiritual services and groups Perform administrative and institutional duties, following policies and procedures necessary to safely provide spiritual services Direct the provision of regularly scheduled Jewish services, ceremonies and scheduled groups for study and other spiritual activities Effectively communicate with team Support the hospital’s Relationship Security Program Eligibility To be considered for this career opportunity, applicants must have eligibility by way of one of the following: reachable on an certification list, have transfer eligibility, or have reinstatement eligibility.
